Hello dear patient, high eosinophil levels can be due to variety of causes but finding out the cause is important. High eosinophil can cause lung problems like Asthama leading to cough, shortness of breath and wheezing. Regarding azithromycin I am not sure you should take this or not. But it's dose is definitely high as per your prescription. It's to be taken 500mg once a day not twice daily. Regarding gum problems this can be due to antibiotics related or other causes also. You can apply zytee or orasore gel on gums twice a day and eat becasoule capsule once a day for one week.
