Asked for Male, 52 Years

My father got heavy nasal bleeding 3 days ago. We went to emergency. They settled packing on both nostrils. Doctor is suggesting nasal endoscopy. Is it really required???

Epistaxis can occur because of various reasons such as nasal septum injury, hypertension, ulceration of nasal septum, rhinosinusitis, tumors etc. Endoscopy is necessary to identify cause of the problem so that effective treatment is given
