Elongated Bump in Back of Throat
Hi. I have this elongated bump at the back wall of the throat for months now. It do not cause any issues and does not grow. It sometimes feels little bit smaller but is relatively same size forever. Is this something normal or should I go to an ENT and get this checked.

This is due to reflux pharyngitis - there is cobblestoning of posterior pharyngeal wall Nothing to worry about You will have to modify your diet Avoid oily spicy and junk food Increase your water intake 2.5l/day Consult if issue persists or you develop symptoms

Hi. This is nothing but enlarged lymphoid tissue. There is nothing to worry about. Probably secondary to any previous throat infection.
Next Steps
No need to panic.

I don't see an elongated bumb other than uvula. A little hypertrophied mucosa is present but if you don't have any symptoms then nothing to be done
Next Steps
An ENT clinic visit can help you relieve of any stress regarding this

Do not worry, it is normal, it is due to reflux, and sometimes it can cause pain, when u have acute infection, such ad pharyngitis, otherwise it’s completely fine if u have no complaints at present
