Hello Docors,
My mom has bilateral knee osteoarthritis.
She is obese and weighs around the 79kg and
she is 49 years old.
We had consulted a local orthopedic doctor
and got prescribed some medicines like Rejuprix cd3, Duraglide
max, Altraday tablet, uprise D3 60k.
After taking those for around 10 days, since
we didn't see any improvement in pain, we
consulted the doctor again. Then, she got
kenacort 1ml injection on her left knee and she
has been taking medicines also.
Now, we consulted another physician and got
prescribed tide 10, febumac 40,naprosyn 500.
Currently, she is not taking Altraday pain killer
medicine.
But, we are seeing a spike in her blood
pressure and staying around 140/90 most of
the times in a day. Previously, she had always low bp.
We are suspecting whether it's kenacort
steroid injection caused the spike in blood
pressure and she is also tensed due to knee
pain issues as well as blood pressure.
Please advise us accordingly.
