Ectopic kidney
My seven month baby has right ectopic kidney in right lower abdomen. cystic dilation of right distal ureter in to urinary blader. -S/O Right ureterocele. please give suggestion what should i do

If there is hydronephrosis, then he / she would need a DTPA Renogram to assess the function and extent of obstruction due to ureterocele. Based on the reports, further treatment can be determined. If it's obstructive, an intervention like endoscopic incision of the ureterocele would be required. Rarely there could be complete duplication of the collecting system,for which the treatment is different. Have to be in follow up with a pediatric Urologist.
