Ectopic Thyroid means the presence of thyroid tissues other than his normal place (between the second and fourth tracheal cartilage).
Most of the patients are usually asymptomatic,
Management is required when the patient develops symptoms such as cough, dysphagia, stridor.
Kindly see an Endocrinologist to evaluate youe thyroid gland functions followed by an ENT specialist.
