Ecosprin is less likely to cause any tonsillitis symptoms Need to rule out allergy and reflux acidity for recurrent throat infection

Ecosprin (aspirin) 75 mg is a low-dose antiplatelet medication commonly used for cardiac protection. A single dose is unlikely to cause significant bleeding unless there is an underlying predisposition such as mucosal fragility, active infection, or concurrent use of other blood thinners. The sensation of blood taste and smell without actual bleeding could be due to upper airway inflammation, sinus congestion, or altered mucosal secretions, especially in the context of elevated blood pressure or sinus-related pathology. Your subsequent development of rhinosinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis appears more consistent with a chronic upper respiratory or ENT condition rather than a direct adverse effect of a single aspirin dose. Recurrent symptoms after stopping medications may suggest underlying chronic inflammation, allergic rhinitis, or persistent infection rather than aspirin-related bleeding. However, in rare cases, aspirin can exacerbate respiratory symptoms in individuals with Aspirin-Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (AERD), which includes asthma, sinusitis, and nasal polyps. If symptoms recur with aspirin use or are persistent, a detailed ENT evaluation along with possible allergy or immunological testing would be advisable.
Next Steps
ENT examination including nasal endoscopy if needed Allergy testing to rule out AERD or allergic rhinitis Imaging (CT PNS) if chronic rhinosinusitis is suspected Monitoring blood pressure and lipid profile regularly
