Your ECG is normal but you have on-and-off chest pain for 3–4 days, most common causes at 33 years are: • Muscle strain / costochondritis • Acidity / GERD • Anxiety-related chest tightness Heart-related pain at your age is less common if: • ECG is normal • No diabetes / BP / smoking / strong family history • Pain changes with movement or pressing the chest Important distinction: ✔ Pain increases when pressing chest → muscular ✔ Burning pain after food → acidity ✔ Tightness with stress → anxiety ✔ Pain with exertion, sweating, radiation to arm/jaw → cardiac (needs urgent check) A single normal ECG does not rule out everything, but it makes serious heart issue less likely in low-risk young adults.
Health Tips
✔ Observe what triggers pain ✔ Avoid Google-induced anxiety ✔ Maintain sleep ✔ Reduce caffeine ✔ Practice slow breathing exercises At 33 with normal ECG, serious cardiac cause is less likely, but chest pain should never be ignored if pattern changes. If you tell me: • Is pain sharp or heavy? • Does it increase on pressing chest? • Any acidity symptoms? • Any BP, diabetes, smoking history? I can narrow it down more precisely. Booking an online consultation will allow structured risk assessment and help decide whether further cardiac tests are necessary or if this is non-cardiac chest pain.
