Ear pain in 2. 5 months old. Help.

Hi Experts Me and my mom gave head bath to my baby 2.5 months old yesterday. We kept cotton in the ear bt that got wet. I didn't see any water inside the ear, checked with light. My mom suggested to blow the ear to remove any water, if any went inside. By mistake or just to remove water she blew very hard and she didn't realize that blow was quite strong. It made my baby scream immediately, baby was breast feeding then, she left the breast and started screaming, crying and became red. Not able to understand on how to stop her from crying I fed her again and she became silent and slept. I can't tell anyone abt this otherwise it would create problems in my home and they would blame my mom. I am very scared for my baby's ear. Can't say anything to mom as well. I am not able to sleep. Can't go for physical visit now. Please help.
