I will be traveling by air with my 5 months old baby today and I am concerned about the air pressure which causes ear pain in infants, what precautions can be taken for the same or is there any medicine to prevent this pain or any pain reliever which can be given to the baby when he is having that pain.

Unless your baby is having cold and nose block no special precautions are required during air travel. Only pain medicine which can be given to infants is paracetamol. If your baby becomes irritable and crying you can safely give paracetamol syrup
Next Steps
Consult nearby Paediatrician or ENT specialist for more information regarding precautions to be taken during air travel
