My husband had ear pain ,went to the doc, with endoscope shows small swelling inside and when they touch its painful .given antibiotics and pain relief after medicine pain controlled Now they are suggested MRI scan Doc suspecting pariotid gland is this the same or is any serious thing

It is unlikely that parotid swelling is associated with pain in the ear. Doctor may have noticed parotid swelling incidentally and advised for MRI if ear pain is persistent even after treatment then consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
