Ear pain and headache

Asked for Male, 28 Years

My baby is 4 months old. He had vaccination on 1st march and the fever was there for next three days and he had mild cold. Bcos of which his ear was infected n paining. Doctor prescribed t minic oral drops for three days and nasoclear for cold. I have been using these from yesterday. His cold is clearing. But he will start crying loudly sometimes. Is this bcos of headache or ear pain. Can you suggest me the solution for this.

Children are prone to ear infections after colds. If the condition is not becoming better, I suggest you use xylometazoline nasal drops 0.025%. Just put 1 drop in each nostril twice a day for 2 days. Also, don't feed the kid in lying down position, keep him propped up a little.
