Ear infection with slight pus and severe

I have ear infection with slight pus coming out. My Doctor gave Taxim o cv 200 and Signoflam tablet. Please advice is it good to use Soliwax ear drops for my ear pain problem

Hi there. This is Dr Satya Kiran, ENT and Cochlear implant surgeon from Hyderabad. As per ur history, u have pus discharge from ear. U haven't mentioned the duration, whether it is one or both ears n it's association with hearing loss. If it's for short duration, likely it might be outer/external ear infection called otitis external If it's for ling duration or on & off, likely there might be middle ear infection with hole in ear drum called CSOM / COM. IN BOTH CASES SOLIWAX IS NOT TO BE USED. SOLIWAX is a wax dissolving agent given for wax. Has nothing to do with pain.

keep ears dry , avoid water entry into ear do not keep any cotton plug all through the day except while bathing avoid manipulation
