Ear blocked after swimming
Hi, I went swimming last weekend, and some water went into my right ear. I tried to clean it up, and for a couple of days used earbuds to clean, and a lot of wax came out. However, it's been 4 days and my ear is still feeling clogged. I can hear from both, but it is a little uncomfortable in my right ear. No pain. What should I do?

You may be having impacted wax. First and foremost never use ear buds to clean ears. It pushes the wax more deep and may traumatise your ear drum. In addition to that, it causes inflammation of the ear canal. You must visit an ENT specialist to get your ear examined to rule out otitis externa and cleaning of ear canal and see the ear drum status.

Do not use ear buds to clean your ears. It can just traumatise your ear drum or the ear canal. You could be either having impacted wax or an infection in the ear canal.
