Dear Practo User,
I appreciate that you are consulting doctors before terminating your medication. I also understand that taking medication for long period of time can build frustration in an individual. However, terminating your medication based on your feelings will not prove to be beneficial for you. Hence I request you to take medication as per your prescription. Also some medications are required to be taken for a life time. Just ask your doctor whether long time means life time or for some years. At least that will give you some clarity. Also try clearing your doubts regarding medication that are keeping you from continuing your medications. Incase you are unable to handle emotions that are invoked through this frustration, please consult a psychologist. As he/she will be able to help you deal with these emotions.
