Dry skin issues

Hi am witnessing peculiar problems since alsmost a year, my penis skin is excessively dry and while taking shower if i want to clean the same the skin cracks open and is very painful. I need to keep applying vaseline gel just to keep the drying at bay. Also the inside of the skin is very dry. Pls suggest
