Dry patches on fingers
I am getting this extremely dry patches on fingers of the hands. I have tried to moisturize my hands all day long but with not much improvement. Most of the time there is no itching but one or two patches itch sometime (not much). The skin becomes so dry that sometimes upper skin  comes off and/or I get cuts. Kindly tell me what it is and recommend any ointment.

Thanks for the query. You need to meet a good Dermatologist to have a proper diagnosis. It could be hand eczema or psoriasis. Once the diagnosis is ascertained, proper treatment can be initiated. If it's eczema, an attempt to find the triggers has to be made or else it keeps recurring. Don't lose hope and the problem can be cured for sure. Hope it helps.
