One handful of almonds (10-12 pieces) and 3-4 pistachios. If you are really in the Indian Army then you must be a qualified and competent Doctor in your Unit or at least in a nearby Battalion. Please consult him/her .

At high altitude, digestion can slow down and gas formation is common. So moderation is key. You can safely take: • Soaked almonds: 4–5 pieces per day (remove the skin after soaking overnight). • Pistachios: 3–4 pieces per day (avoid salted/roasted ones). ✅ Tips: • Always soak dry fruits overnight — it reduces phytic acid and makes them easier to digest. • Avoid mixing too many types at once. • Drink warm water after eating to aid digestion. • If gas persists, include small amounts of ajwain or jeera water post meals. • Avoid cashews and raisins in large amounts — they can worsen bloating.

Hope this helps, Kindly consult me on Practo for further queries

10 almonds and 8 to 10 pistachios are enough for one day, provided you are getting another source of protein like eggs and meat, the bloating is because of inadequate hydration, when are eating more protein and fibre, 2 to 3 litres of water per day should be taken.

Consult if you have any further doubts
