My lips have become extremely dry. I have to, literally, constantly apply some sort of lip balm but the condition is not improving. They are peeling and have blackened in a few spots. Sometimes, there are also painful fissures but they go away after a few days. I am told this is indicative of exfoliative cheilitis. What medication should I take?
