Dry Cough Since 1 week

Hello Doctor, It's been almost around a week I am suffering from Dry cough and whenever I cough, I will get some pain in the throat and loosing my energy in coughing. This is increasing to much more extent when I talk much during the working hours, It would be helpful if you suggest something. Thanks in advance doctor
