Dry Cough from last 15 days.
I am 5 weeks pregnant , i have dry cough from last 10 - 15 days . It gets worsen at night and sometimes in day also. I have done almost all home remedies but the condition is same . Can i take any cough syrup? Please suggest . Thank you.

This happens usually from two reasons 1. Post nasal drip due to nasal allergy 2. Acid reflux As correctly pointed by two doctors before me. We need more information before suggesting medication.

Don't lie down immediately after taking food. Avoid curd and butter milk. Lie down on left side..

Is it dry cough or wet cough? Any throat pain / breathing difficulty? Any blocked nose / running nose / sneezing? Possible causes of dry cough 1. Allergic 2. Post nasal drip 3. Throat infection Treatment depends on diagnosis
