Drank ORS kept in a copper bottle
I was suffering from mild diarrhea, so I prepared ORS in a copper bottle from which I drink water and went to sleep. After waking up in the morning, I drank a large quantity of the solution. After an hour, I developed an ache in my stomach, and after that, I started experiencing severe watery diarrhea which was green in colour.I also vomitted once. Intending to make more ORS solution, I threw away the remaining ORS solution, and that's when I saw that the solution and turned blue in colour. I went to a doctor in the evening, who gave an injection for the vomitting and some medicines. The duration of the bowel movement has decreased, and the watery diarrhea has also started becoming a little solid. However, it is still greenish in colour. Should I worry about it, because I have been reading online and it seems I am suffering from copper poisoning. My stomach pain is not there now, I am having normal urinary movements. I am drinking a little quantity of ORS regularly from a glass jug.

Consult with a doctor
Online now
You are already consulted a Doctor who has given you "some medicine and some injection". From the complete story it seems that you know only the medicines which you took as self medication. You have no idea what your Doctor gave. Anyway, you are improving. So be happy. As far as the Copper vessel is concerned it is not something new. It has been used by Hindus for so many Centuries. There can be some problems but that happens when you have been using Copper vessels for generations, not within 6 hours or 12 hours.
