Doubt related to CT SCAN Radiations
2 to 3 days ago my friend fall down from bike . Yesterday me and my friend went to hospital , doctor advise my friend for CT SCAN and we went to CTSCAN room , when the ctscan is occurring i also stood in the ctscan room holding my friend hand coz she is
not feeling good. so, i have a doubt in my mind that radiations produce in the CTSCAN room produce any side effects on my health or not coz i am standing near to my friend holding her hand while the whole ctscan completed...!

Its true that radiation exposure has effect on human body....But can't generalize cases like this....If you are so worried of your case, then think
-of your friend's situation who is directly exposed to the radiation for CT,
-the radiologists, the technicians who are at very high risk as they are having chance of getting continues exposure,
-the chance of radiation exposure when you are out on a very hot sunny day....
So your worry doesn't make sense...So be calm.....
Females who is pregnant got exposed to radiation is very much at risk as it is teratogenic ( congenital issues to the foetus)
