My family tested positive on 20tg may. We are taking tablets. Before taking test took wysolone 10mg steroid tablet for 3days morning and night with doctor advice. After test methypredisolone 8mg for 5days morning and night. And also we took fluka 150mg for 3days morning and night. Scared about black fungus. Wil it be?

Steroids are to be given only when saturation is below 94% There is no other indication for wysolone /methylpred in covid. They are harmful to body if taken unnecessarily. What measures are being taken to monitor blood sugar?

Don't need to get scared Most important is whether she has diabetes or not Plz do Hba1c Fasting blood sugar Post prandial sugar If she don't have diabetes, or long standing liver or kidney disease its almost impossible to get black fungus

Dont worry about the risk of black fungus.  It is prevalent among patients taking high doses of steroids for a prolonged period of time. Just dont overthink 👍
