Doubt as suffering from several months
Can parasitic infections present without diarrhea, vomiting and fever? As i mentioned before i have loss of appetite, red dot like blanching foot rash, weight loss, weakness, fatigue, feeling of sick, borborygmi, sometimes recurrent ear lock mainly at day time, recurrent chest pain/pressure, previously have joint pain/heel pain/back of throat pain/scapula pain those are not common now, also have pain in different abdominal location...Also mentioned that did test like ESR, Fbs, thyroid, creatinine, urea, chets x ray, ecg, usg whole abdomen, vitamin d, hepatitis b and c all are clear nothing abnormal, only in LFT Sgpt peaked 158 and eosinophil peaked 12% at same time and sgot 50, after that sgpt trending down to 88 then 63 and sgot trending down to 33 then 41, and eosinophil is fluctuating...from 12% to 4% then 7%...I have not used any medicine or allergy issue or fat...I just want to clear my doubts about parasite infection as in practo many said this but local doctors are denying this.

It is unlikely to be a parasitic infection and its manifestation. It seems to be psychosomatic changes which affect both physically and psychologically. It needs to be addressed asap otherwise it may get complicated and can affect your personal and social life. It needs to be treated in a holistic approach for complete recovery. It can be well treated with counseling sessions and homeopathic medicine effectively and without any side effects. You need an expert Psychologist who is a good homeopathic physician.

Well, Yes, Parasite infection can happen without diarrhea/fever, but not confirmed in your case. Why possible: ↑ Eosinophilia Weight loss, weakness, abdominal sounds Why doubtful: No typical gut symptoms Tests mostly normal LFT is improving on its own Bottom line: 👉 Parasite possible but not proven 👉 Do stool test (2–3 samples) + AEC before treatment 👍.. For further queries, try to connect online with me and your issue will be resolved definitely with a proper case taking and you will be more satisfied then.....Stay healthy and safe 👍🏻😊.

Parasitic infections can sometimes present without classic symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, or fever but in such cases they usually show persistent eosinophilia or clear findings in stool tests. In your case, eosinophil levels are fluctuating and not consistently high and multiple investigations (including USG, X-ray, blood tests) are normal, which makes a significant parasitic infection less likely. Your symptoms loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort at different sites, borborygmi, fatigue, and fluctuating lab values are more suggestive of a functional gastrointestinal disturbance with possible allergic or metabolic component rather than a single specific infection. Regarding your reports: • SGPT was elevated but is gradually improving, which is reassuring. • Eosinophil fluctuation (12% → 4% → 7%) may be seen in allergic tendencies, gut sensitivity or transient conditions, not necessarily parasites. What you should consider next: • Stool examination (3 samples) if not already done to completely rule out parasites • Serum IgE levels (to assess allergic tendency) • Diet review and gut friendly regimen • Stress and lifestyle assessment as gut symptoms are often linked Management: Focus on gut regulation, diet correction and constitutional treatment rather than assuming a parasitic cause without strong evidence. Seek immediate care if you develop persistent fever, severe weight loss, blood in stool or worsening pain.

I understand why you’re trying to connect all these symptoms—it can be very frustrating when reports are mostly normal but you still don’t feel well. To answer your main question first: yes, parasitic infections can sometimes present without classic symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, or fever. Especially certain intestinal parasites or tissue parasites can present more subtly with: loss of appetite weight loss fatigue and weakness abdominal discomfort or borborygmi raised eosinophil count However, in your case, we have to be careful not to jump to a single conclusion. Your eosinophil fluctuation (12% → 4% → 7%) does suggest some kind of allergic, parasitic, or immune-related response. At the same time, your SGPT elevation (158 → 88 → 63) shows there was a liver stress phase which is now improving. This combination can be seen in: parasitic infestations allergic/hypersensitivity reactions gut-related dysbiosis or food intolerance sometimes even post-infectious or immune-mediated conditions The red blanching rash, migratory pains, abdominal discomfort, and fatigue indicate a systemic response rather than a simple localized disease. Also, the absence of diarrhea does not rule out parasites, but it also means we should not assume parasites as the only cause—especially since your imaging and major tests are normal. From a clinical perspective, this looks more like a functional + systemic imbalance involving gut, liver, and immune response rather than a clear-cut single diagnosis. At this stage, instead of worrying about one label, the focus should be: improving digestion and appetite regulating immune response (eosinophils) supporting liver recovery addressing the root cause of fatigue and systemic symptoms In my experience, such cases—where multiple symptoms exist with inconclusive reports—respond well to a holistic and individualized approach, where the treatment is based on the totality of symptoms rather than only lab values. If you are comfortable, you can share a few more details like: stool habits (even subtle changes) sleep pattern stress/anxiety levels food cravings or intolerances This will help in understanding the root cause more clearly and guiding you better. There is definitely a way forward in this, so don’t feel stuck or helpless. Regards Dr Jyoti Kadkol Health Global Homoeopathy, Vijaynagar, Whitefield www.healthglobalclinics.com

Yes, parasitic infections can absolutely present without diarrhea, vomiting, or fever. While many common intestinal parasites (like Giardia or Cryptosporidium) are famous for causing acute digestive distress, many other types of parasites can live in the body for long periods while causing more subtle, chronic, and multi-systemic symptoms. Some parasites primarily affect tissues outside the digestive tract (such as muscles, the liver, or the bloodstream). The two most critical findings you reported are Eosinophilia and Elevated Liver Enzymes, occurring simultaneously. 1. Eosinophilia (High Eosinophils) You mentioned your eosinophil count reached 12% and is currently fluctuating around 7%. What this means: Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that the immune system uses to fight specific infections and handle allergic reactions. Significance: In a person not taking new medications and without a history of allergies (as you stated), significant eosinophilia is strongly associated with helminth (parasitic worm) infections. Many parasites (e.g., hookworm, Strongyloides, and others that pass through the lungs and liver) cause this response as they migrate through the body's tissues. 2. Abnormal Liver Function Tests (LFTs) Your SGPT (ALT) was quite high (158) before trending down, and your SGOT (AST) was also elevated. These tests are markers of liver damage or inflammation. Significance: The combination of elevated liver enzymes and high eosinophils points strongly toward an inflammatory process affecting the liver that is triggering a specific immune response. Connection to Parasites: Several parasites can migrate through the liver (like larval stages of Strongyloides or Ascaris) or reside there (such as Fasciola hepatica or Echinococcus), causing inflammation. 3. Interpretation of Other Symptoms Many of your other symptoms, while non-specific on their own, fit into a bigger picture that can accompany chronic parasitic infections: Systemic Symptoms: Loss of appetite, unintentional weight loss, weakness, and fatigue are common signs that your body is fighting a chronic infection or that a parasite is using your nutrients. Dermatological Symptoms: The "red dot blanching foot rash" can be a critical clue. Some parasitic larvae entry methods (like hookworm or Strongyloides, known as larva currens) cause distinctive skin rashes, often on the feet or lower legs. Multi-system Pain: Joint, throat, back, and abdominal pain are often associated with systemic inflammatory responses often seen when parasites migrate through various tissues.

Hello. Yes there are some parasitic condition that are presented without fever , nausea and vomiting. I have read your reports . Ranges are improving without medication is itself a risk factor. Usually poeple take Parasitic infection for granted but these can cause serious health problem if untreated. I would advise for a stool culture , serum amylase and check for Hepatomegaly. Kindly connect after the tests are done.
