Dog bite from a stray dog
I was bit by a stray dog at night but due to unavailability of doctors I did my first aid using savlon and other anti-septic cream and i visited the doctor in the morning i.e. 12 hours from the time of dog bite... I was given a injection at my hip region and doctor told that I should take 2 more injections after 3 and 7 days... Have I delayed my treatment?? I have visited a clinic nearby, should I visit any specialist?? I also want to mention that the dog teeth was not in direct contact with my skin as I was wearing a jeans pant... Is there any suggestions?

Specialist is not required , injections are correct, and first aid you gave to yourself is also perfect, well done.
