There is "Bronze baby syndrome ":bronze discoloration of body after using phototherapy
In direct hyperbilirubinaemia ..
Without report of bilirubin can't say further
“Bronze baby” syndrome, a dark bronze discoloration of the skin thought to be related to impaired excretion of photoproducts of bile pigment, may occur with phototherapy in infants with direct hyperbilirubinemia (cholestatic jaundice) and usually resolves gradually within a few weeks after phototherapy is discontinued. The etiology is unknown, and whether the bronze pigments cause neurotoxicity is uncertain.

Hello, good to connect with you today
Yes photogtherapy will make the skin darker
But you don’t have to worry, it’s temporary
It’s like getting a sun tan
Your baby will get back to his genetic skin colour slowly.
Give it 2-4 weeks
Health Tips
You don’t have to apply oil or any other remedy advertised on various platforms for phototherapy induced dark skin. It goes away naturally
