Does everyone need a 5 step skin care ?
I am a 17 year old female (does not consume junk food use less dairy) with combination skin/acne prone (dry on the forehead and acne on the cheeks and chin) who has suffered from severe acne in the past and still have acne but much less(thx to my dermatologist). In 2018 I went to see a dermatologist for the acne to which she prescribed me a facewash and a sunscreen(both bioderma),till this day I am using the same products(sometimes use boroline as moisturizer). Have seen changes in the acne condition but still suffers from it everyday (always present) also my skin is not in a great state due to no skincare. ●Should I start using a skin care routine for day and night ? that includes ; cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye cream, sunscreen , (sometimes a chemical exfloiter). ●What are your thoughts on chemical exfloater?

Your Dermatologist has suggested you the correct medication. You have to make sure that you keep your face oil free all the time. As far as you persisting acne, it can be worked on and it will go away through medication only but for that I have to see you before I prescribe you medication.

Visit your dermatologist or take an appointment with me if you pleases.
