Does amoxicillin causes black stools
I have been prescribed Amoxicillin and acerut sp by my dentist after Root canal treatment.
But I am getting black stools after taking 3rd dose of each.
Also having little cramps in lower stomach.
Is it normal after taking amoxicillin or should I be worried ?

It is the Acerut SP which may cause black stools. Amoxy-cloxacillin causes diarrhoea.
