Asked for Female, 24 Years

I am 24 years old female. I am having dandruff and sometimes scalp itches and I scratch then 2-3 hair strands comes in my hand. The roots of my hair are very weak. My doctor suggested to use Scalpe+ shampoo for this and tab Follihair once daily. Is it safe to use? Do I need to get thyroid test done or I have androgenic alopecia? I have normal haemoglobin level(13.6).
