Hi, I have been 1st dose vaccinated (covishield) on 14th may. Got fever on the same day, but didn't subside for 3 days, so tested, resulted covid +ve. Took fabiflu tablets, doxy, paracetemol, still fever continued till 6 more days humping in mornings and evenings. Went for CT sacn resulted 16/25 corad and 50% pneumonia. Admitted into hospital on 24th may. Antibiotics, steroids, celines, remdesivir course ran on me, recovered in couple of days, symptoms gone, discharged on 31st may. Though continued a steroid predmet until 9 days with gradual decrement. Now, my question is, Is the vaccine first dose given to me wasted? Did it produce any antibodies which can save me in future? Or I need to go for fresh vaccine? How do I decide on this? How would be my immunitiy level now? It's been two weeks i was discharged, still feeling week little bit.
