Dizziness mild
I have ocd. Doctor gave fluvoxamine 100 twice a day, clonotril 0.5 at bed time and risdone ls at bed time for two months. After that he increased fluvoxamine dose to 250 mg and ocd increased so he reduced it back to 200 mg after 4 days. Now when i take the tab at day time i feel little bit dizzy. So i took vertin 8 mg 4 tabs and now i am feeling more dizzy after stopping vertin. I want to know i am feeling dizzy now because of stopping vertin or because of ocd medications?

I want to acknowledge how much courage it takes to voice these struggles. Often, we treat mental health as a matter of 'willpower,' but as a psychiatrist, I can tell you that what you are experiencing has a real biological and neurological basis. Your brain, like any other organ, can sometimes struggle to maintain balance under stress. Seeking treatment isn't a sign of failure; it’s a proactive medical decision to regain your quality of life. We can work together to understand the 'why' behind these feelings and find a structured path back to your baseline. You don't have to navigate this alone.

Hi, feeling dizzy may be a symptom of orthostatic hypotension, which is a side effect of Risperidone (Risdone LS).
Next Steps
It's better to check your BP blood pressure immediately, and taper or change your medication with the advice of a psychiatrist.
Health Tips
Drinking good amount of water and avoiding  sudden standing up from sitting position may help.
