Diziness and unsteadiness sice six month
Sir inhave this problem of unsteady gait and vertigo problem. I consulted ent specalist he advised me some test like vitamin and USG neck vessels. All the tests were normal execpt vitamin test,where my vit b12:118 pg/ml , he told me that this is the condition that causing persistent dizziness.i also got my plain brain mri which was also normal. I want to know that is vit b12 deficeny causes persistent diziness and heaviness in head?

Do MRI brain. Vertigo gait problem together may be a problem of cerebellum of your brain. Vit B 12 folic acid etc are the building blocks of your nerves. You may have to do a Nerve conduction velocity test. Check your thyroid profile and blood sugar test too.
