Discomfort in tooth
I had done root canal treatment some 14 years back.I feel little discomfort and pain in that tooth while eating food now a days.I feel like some part of that root canal coating is lost in one side of my tooth.Can root canal be performed again on the same tooth or any other procedure is recommended.

The pain in that tooth may be due to re infection of that teeth....your failure to put cap In that teeth also causes infection of the root canal treated tooth....X ray us to be taken to check for any reinfection.if it is so then you need to go for re root canal treatment to eliminate the infection followed by capping of that concerned teeth

Hi
First visit your dentist and do with a X-ray .If the pain in on root canal treated teeth then it it should be diagnosed whether re root canal is possible or not . Take Tablet Ketoral DT for immediate pain relief .
