Discomfort after anal fistula surgery
I recently had anal fistula surgery. My surgeon did laser surgery and put 3 seton after surgery. It is very uncomfortable and sometimes painful. I am already applying gels and taking sitz bath but still i am suffering from this discomfort. Kindly suggest what precautions can i take and what can be helpful in this situation to remove this discomfort?

Hi Anil Fistula, surgery is a little discomforting surgery and you have setons on their so it is expected to have discomfort and pain in the Perianal area. You have to continue the painkillers as well as Do sitz bath as well as continue the ointments and keep your motion free using the laxative syrup. Also continue sitz bath for three times a day or four times a day, which will give you relief if it is severely painful, please consult your operating Surgeon.
