I have an unhealthy looking skin no matter how many ways I try to make it look fresh it still doesn't look just so fresh. The same goes for my hair. My hair looks unhealthy and doesn't grow long.
Would you recommend me multivitamin. I haven't tried any before. Please help.

Hi! Thanks for your query.
If your hair is damaged, some simple changes into your daily nutrition needs & hair care can give you thick, bouncy and shiny hair.
While your hair mostly depends on your genetics; stress, hormonal imbalance and poor diet have a great influence on your hair health and appearance.
Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet.
Next important step is to follow good hair care - Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry, etc. Condition your hair using organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Rosemary tea once in a while.
Limit frequent brushing of hair, use of chemicals or hair dryer as they tend to damage even the finest hair.
You can also start with zinc and biotin supplements.

Outdoor activities make our skin tan. The only option is to wear protective full sleeves clothing and cover as much as possible. Usage of a cap or hat and umbrella is encouraged. Skin already tanned can be treated with de-pigmenting creams and other oral medications. A good skin care regimen comprises 4 steps - cleansing, toning, moisturizing and sun block. Based on your skin type, a dermatologist will recommend you appropriate products.
