My symptoms:
1) Unnatural burping and farting (indigestion)
2) Weight loss, from 71 to 47 in the span of 8 years.
3) All the blood reports, including colonoscopy, are normal.
4) Sucked-in, abnormal, deconstructed, heavy, hard or extreme loos feeling in the stomach.
5) Restricted downward movement (Apan Vayu). It's not average constipation. Stool quality is not proper, bulk is missing. No loose motions at all.
6) Also, secondary Pitta imbalance along with Vata. (Shatavari or Kamdudha Rasa tablet give me a good feeling in stomach, but it's a self medication). Slight usage of ghee makes my stomach feel normal.
7) I usually take Hingwashtak, but it increases heat and my sleep becomes fragmented and broken. Acid/pitta controller medicines give me a good sleep dramatically. But that Churna still goes ok with my system.
8) I get hungry and sometime not. Although I never lost interest in food, I get hungry too. But I can't gain weight because of the above issues.

Your symptoms suggest a chronic Vata-predominant digestive disorder with impaired Agni and Apana Vayu, along with secondary Pitta imbalance. Normal reports rule out major pathology, but functional gut imbalance can still cause weight loss, gas, improper stool formation and disturbed downward movement.
Self-medication (Hingwashtak, Kamdudha, Shatavari) gives clues but Hingwashtak aggravating heat confirms Pitta sensitivity. This condition needs a structured Ayurvedic approach focusing on Agni correction, Apana regulation and gentle nourishment rather than laxatives. Please consult me for proper evaluation and a personalized treatment plan.
For your betterment and health, you must consult us as you just don’t need medication, but first you need to have your body constitution get checked assessment of each and every Dosa, each and every dhatu and each trimala.

Health Tips
Please, don’t pop up pills or Ayurveda supplements and medication without proper guidance and CONSULTATION.
Each and every medicine has to go under digestion, then only it will give you effect if you are popping up so many medication without the ignition of your digestive Fire, the medicines will not give you that much effect which they are normally capable of. Thank you.
Youâve described your condition very clearly. From an **Ayurveda point of view**, this is a **classic chronic VataâPitta disorder with ApÄna-VÄyu avarodha (blocked downward movement)** and **Agni dysfunction**, not a structural disease â which matches your normal investigations.
Iâll break this into **(A) what is really happening**, **(B) why medicines like Hingwashtak partly help but worsen sleep**, and **(C) a practical correction plan** that focuses on **weight gain, stool bulk, and ApÄna restoration** â not just gas control.
---
## A) What is actually happening (Ayurvedic diagnosis)
Your symptoms point to:
### 1ï¸â£ **PakvÄÅaya-gata Vata + ApÄna VÄyu Dushti**
* Excess burping & gas
* Missing stool bulk
* âSucked-in / hollow / heavyâ abdominal sensation
* Feeling of **blocked downward flow** despite no classic constipation
This is **NOT simple constipation** â itâs **ApÄna VÄyu moving upward instead of downward**.
---
### 2ï¸â£ **Vishama & Tikshna Agni alternating**
* Sometimes hungry, sometimes not
* Food digests partially â nutrients not absorbed â weight loss
* Gas instead of stool formation
This explains:
* **Weight loss despite eating**
* Thin stools
* Feeling better with **ghee** and **Pitta-calming medicines**
---
### 3ï¸â£ **Secondary Pitta involvement**
You already observed this correctly ð
Evidence:
* Hingwashtak increases heat & disturbs sleep
* Acid/Pitta controllers improve sleep dramatically
* Kamdudha & Shatavari give comfort
So:
> **Primary issue = Vata (ApÄna + SamÄna)**
> **Secondary aggravation = Pitta**
---
## B) Why Hingwashtak helps but harms you
Hingwashtak is:
* ð¥ **Tikshna (sharp)**
* ð¥ **Ushna (hot)**
* Strong Vata-pacifier **but increases Pitta**
In your body:
* It pushes digestion temporarily
* But **burns Ojas**, aggravates Pitta
* Leads to **fragmented sleep, dryness, heat**
So it is **NOT suitable for long-term use in your constitution**.
---
## C) Corrective strategy (this is the key part)
### ð¯ Goals
1. Restore **ApÄna VÄyu downward movement**
2. Build **stool bulk**
3. Improve **absorption**
4. Calm **Pitta without suppressing Agni**
5. Enable **healthy weight gain**
---
## 1ï¸â£ Core daily correction (MOST IMPORTANT)
### â **Ghee therapy (non-negotiable for you)**
You already noticed its benefit â thatâs diagnostic.
**Dose**
* 1 tsp **cow ghee**
* Morning **empty stomach**
* With **warm water or warm milk (if tolerated)**
ð This:
* Lubricates PakvÄÅaya
* Restores ApÄna
* Improves stool bulk
* Nourishes tissues (DhÄtus)
â ï¸ Do NOT fear ghee â your body **needs unctuousness**.
---
## 2ï¸â£ Replace Hingwashtak with safer Agni support
### â Stop daily Hingwashtak
(You may use it **once a week only if needed**)
### â Better alternatives for YOU:
**Option A (preferred):**
* *******Churna** â ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water
* Regulates Pitta
* Improves sleep
* Corrects bowel movement direction
**Option B (if gas is dominant):**
* ******+ ******
* ****½ tsp
* ****¼ tsp
* At night with warm water
This combination:
* Moves ApÄna downward
* Builds stool bulk
* Soothes gut lining
---
## 3ï¸â£ Daytime digestion (without overheating)
Instead of Hingwashtak during the day:
### â **JeeraâFennel water**
* Boil ½ tsp jeera + ½ tsp saunf
* Sip warm after meals
This:
* Reduces gas
* Supports Agni
* Does NOT aggravate Pitta
---
## 4ï¸â£ For weight gain & tissue nourishment
### â *****is appropriate â but timing matters**
* Take **at night**, not daytime
* ½ tsp powder or 1 capsule
* With warm milk or water
Why it helps you:
* Nourishes Rasa & Mamsa Dhatu
* Calms Pitta
* Supports gut lining
---
## 5ï¸â£ Stool bulk restoration (critical)
Your stool lacks **Kapha & unctuousness**, not water.
### Add daily:
* Well-cooked rice or rice gruel
* Moong dal (not chana, rajma, soy)
* Stewed vegetables (lauki, pumpkin, carrot)
* Avoid raw salads for now
---
## 6ï¸â£ What to AVOID strictly (for 8â12 weeks)
â Dry foods
â Excess spices
â Fermented food
â Late-night meals
â Skipping meals
â Excess fasting
â Continuous heating formulations
These **increase Vata + Pitta**, worsening your condition.
---
## Expected improvements timeline
ð **2â3 weeks**
* Better sleep
* Less burping
* Softer, more formed stools
ð **6â8 weeks**
* Visible weight stabilization
* Improved abdominal comfort
* Regular hunger without extremes
ð **3 months**
* Gradual weight gain
* Stronger digestion
* Reduced dependency on medicines
---
## VERY IMPORTANT NOTE
Your condition **will not resolve with single medicines**.
It improves only when:
> **Lubrication + Direction correction + Gentle Agni support** are done together.
You are **not incurable**, and nothing is âdamaged permanentlyâ.
---
### I need just 3 quick clarifications to fine-tune this:
1ï¸â£ Do you pass stool **once daily or less than that**?
2ï¸â£ Is your body generally **cold or heat-prone**?
3ï¸â£ Does stress or anxiety worsen your gut symptoms?
Reply with these, and Iâll refine this into a **personalized 90-day recovery plan** for you.
Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine.

All of your symptoms seems to be due to low digestive fire and imbalance in your digestion..According to Ayurveda..most of the problems are due to undigested food material producing toxins and consequently poor absorption of nutrients..kindly take medicines under guidance of an Ayurveda doctor
Next Steps
As for now..start having Fibre in your food to add bulk
First of all you cant treat your digestive system with alot of medicines that your stomach cannot even digest. You've mandagni or low digestive fire due to which none of the nutrients are getting absorbed thus its causing you to have ama or toxins causing you indigestion,sometimes constipation,heavy or bulky feeling also looseness of stomach. These all are the symptoms of undigested food getting stored and removing raw particles from your stomach. So for this you should start with deepana pachana dravyas or herbs such as Ampachak vati-2-0-2(A/F) and Chitrakadi vati-1-0-1(A/F) along with tab dizomap-1.5BD(with first bout of food) for 15 days.
