Hi doc
My daughter is 1.2 years old. From today morning, she is having redness due to diaper around her private area. In the evening she pooped but i was unaware and changed the diaper after half an hour. Now there are little red bumps in the red areas and she is crying a lot because of the pain of diaper rash. What should i do, which ointment should i use. I will be keeping her diaper free for 1-2 days and cleaning the area with water and soft handkerchief.

Please don't worry about it
For irritation and redness you can use Atarax Drops one Ml Twice a day for Two days and Apply Candid ointment and keep the area clean and dry .
RELAX .change diapers when they wet. .if you can not manage, use soft cloth rap .Apply Urea cream locally after cleaning softly. You can leave it open for some time. Main moral is clean, dry apply urea cream or lactocalamine locally. I am sure the baby will heal within 3 days.other wise you show me Rash on video talk on whatsapp.
Yes please use candid ointment in the diaper region. Use this twice daily. In addition, use coconut oil after washing it every time. Use the ointment for five days.
Use diapers only at night and change that every four hours.
Avoid wet wipes too
