DIABETIC WITH 3 months pregnant
HI SIR AND MADAM, My wife 3 months pregnant with sugar level 130(fasting) and 189(PP). She is taking huminsulin (morning 16 points and night 10 points) in her belly. Require to suggest what food should take in this situation. And what we do for our safety of baby. Thanks you for your all support Regards

Hi... One time diet chart for a gestational diabetes is not enough.You need proper guidance , tailored diet to control your sugar levels.Time to time insulin dose adjustment and precautions of hypoglycemia needs to be taken. Please consult a Diabetes Educator to guide you properly....Thanks.

Hi, three times complex carbohydrates. Twice salad in a month. Fruit ( once in a day ) no litchi. Boiled chana or sprouts if the craving is there

Greetings for the day!!       Gestational diabetes can be caused by various reasons. It is important to maintain the glucose levels in control for a healthy foetus.    General guidelined Avoid junk food, maida based products, carbonated beverages, juices     Avoid sugars, dry fruit     Include whole grains, high fiber veg, fruit 100g per day    Include good quality protein foods eggs, pulses, legumes, qunioa, fish, chicken    Physical activity 30-60 min    Sleep 6-8 hrs Consult me for a detailed diet plan with quantity and quality of foods to be included Thank you
