Diabetes sings
My mother has diabetes and I used one of her kits to test my blood sugar levels . I was told to not eat anything for a few hours prior to this test. After doing the test I had a level of 7.1, I did it the next day and it is now 7.6. Should I contact my gp or is this completely fine for an 18 year old

It is slightly on a higher side. Its better to consult your GP and get it retested, both fasting and post meal sugar. The traditional method of blood testing is better than testing from a home based glucometer in your case.
