Depression
I've been having depressive symptoms for a about 3 years now. I've seen a psychotherapist but no progress was made and I couldn't even talk to her - now she went on sick leave and I was told I'd be put on a waiting list but I'm not sure that's happened. At this point, i think talk therapy is too slow for me and I need something more helpful and straight to the point. So I'd like to know how do I go about getting anti depressants?

Hello dear As you have mentioned that you are undergoing treatment for depression but you feel it is a slow. You can try consulting another clinical psychologist if you are not satisfied with the present one. For medicinal purposes, you can consult a psychiatrist as they can evaluate your present symptoms and see whether you require the anti-depressants or not.
Next Steps
consult a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist
