Depression
I have been sick since childhood. My father was very angry. They used to make me very angry and beat me.I used to get scared seeing him.I got scared.I was not sharing my feelings with anyone.I did not talk to anyone and lived alone. As I grew older, that fear grew in me.After 10th, I took admission in polytechnic college.I knew nothing of it.So I was very afraid.Children there used to tease and beat,But I wasn't telling them anything.I was not talking to any teachers.I was fond of dancing and acting. But I didn't have the confidence to act or dance in front of others. So I was going into an imaginary world. In that world I thought I had become a very big actor.I was not interested in studies and I was not interested in anything.I was not concentrating in real life.so after some years passed I understand that i have psychological issue so i met psychiatrist and he has given me medicine but that medicines are not helping me so what should i do please help🙏🙏

Hii, having difficult childhood does affect our psychological process & personality. hence to manage the situation we might get into unhealthy coping mechanisms like imaginary world which later affects us in many ways. As a child we do that what we feel is better in that moment, so that's not wrong. Now, it's important to get over the past & connect to present reality more. Through hypnotherapy &mindfulness it is easily achievable. Its total drugless therapy. Thank you & take care

Hi You have had a difficult childhood and you often have thoughts of the past. It sounds like you have not gotten over thoughts and memories of your childhood. You are not able to share your feelings with anyone. You like acting and dancing. Consult a psychologist and share your feelings. With a psychologist you can talk about your childhood, your fears, and your passion. You have had a difficult childhood but you can live the kind of life you want. If you feel acting is your passion you can pursue it. Do not worry with time you will feel better. Do take care of yourself

1. Meditation. If done correctly, meditation is definitely an effective way to overcome anxiety and depression. Meditation helps the brain to release endorphins and serotonin, both of which help to relieve depression. It is recommended to do meditation at least once per day. Meditation helps us to relax our minds and bodies and to live in the present moment. It provides us with clarity and calmness, which in turn reduces stress and anxiety. In addition, meditation helps us cope with daily stresses and challenges, and it increases our awareness of ourselves and others. 2. Exercise. Exercise is great for the body and mind. It provides many physical and mental health benefits. If you’re feeling depressed, exercise may be able to boost your mood. Try going for a walk around the block or working out at the gym. Exercise is known to have many positive effects on our bodies and minds. One of those effects includes how it helps us overcome depression and anxiety. Depression and anxiety are two conditions that we all suffer from at some point in our lives. 3. Socialization. Socialization is extremely important for people who suffer from depression. You should try to make friends with others who share similar interests. Having someone to talk to about your problems can really help to take your mind off of them. Socialization makes people happy because it makes them feel needed. People who suffer from depression often feel worthless and unlovable. By hanging out with friends and family members, they are reminded that they are loved and wanted, and that they are valuable and worthy of being around. 4. Relaxation Techniques. Relaxation techniques are any type of activity that helps you unwind and relax. There are many types of relaxation techniques that you can use. Examples include deep breathing exercises and visualization. Relaxation techniques help in overcoming depression and anxiety by reducing stress levels. There are many relaxation techniques that have been developed over time to reduce stress. These techniques include meditation, deep breathing exercises, yoga, tai chi, etc. 5. Stress Management. Stress management is a big part of overcoming depression and anxiety. Stress management involves learning how to deal with stressful situations that arise throughout everyday life. Learning how to manage stress properly can improve your overall emotional well-being. Stress management helps to overcome depression and anxiety because it reduces the symptoms associated with these conditions. In order to manage stress effectively, we need to learn how to recognize what causes us stress, understand our body’s reaction to stress, and learn ways to reduce stress. Depression and anxiety are both psychological disorders that affect people differently. Depression is characterized by feelings of hopelessness, guilt, low self-esteem, fatigue, loss of interest in activities, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and changes in sleep patterns. People who suffer from depression often feel sad, guilty, empty, worthless, angry, or afraid. 6. Nutrition. Depression often stems from poor nutrition. Poor nutrition can lead to low levels of certain vitamins and minerals that affect neurotransmitters in the brain. Make sure you eat a balanced diet full of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein, and healthy fats. 7. Sleep. Getting adequate sleep is an important aspect of maintaining good mental health. Lack of sleep can cause depression and anxiety. Try to go to bed earlier and get up later. Sleep helps to overcome depression and anxiety by helping to regulate moods and emotions. When we sleep, our body produces chemicals called neurotransmitters, which send signals to our brain to make us feel happy or sad. These chemicals are produced at night while we’re asleep. Our brains produce these chemicals throughout the day, but they are not as effective if we don’t get enough sleep. If you have trouble sleeping, try getting seven hours of sleep each night. Hi dear, completely understand you, from where have you not those thoughts and that world where you felt great about everything. Generally all human have this trait in them, that is the one thing or behavior they have been scared of fearful of or not have got it in life, they search for outside. in your description you have just gone outside by imagination and that's perfectly fine. But once this imagination makes you change your behaviour or your way of being then it is to be detected and also worked upon. The best thing is that you have noticed this and are willing to work on it. Medicines provided to u sometimes don't act upon sooner they take time and also side effects but they do work. According to what i see, along with counselling therapy you need to also take the same meds
Next Steps
consult a psychologists. who will work on your fears n thoughts you can also book a slot with me.

Hi... Please understand this, treatment of mental health disorders/issues doesn't work like a typical allopathic treatment that we are so used to. The medications prescribed to you take time to bring desired results. Typically most psychiatric medications take 3-4 weeks to create an effective change. Some people report immediate changes, which is largely a consequence of 'placebo effect'. Some medications do create an immediate change but they also have side effects so they are not prescribed immediately. Do continue your medication and do not change or miss your dosages as prescribed. Also as per your experience most of your issues are rooted in your childhood and psychosocial environment, so your treatment will include psychotherapy/counselling intensively. It is a combination of medication and psychotherapy that works well in most cases. Remember, it's not the patients job to choose his/her treatment. Their job is to find the right professionals and than trust them and follow their treatment religiously.
Next Steps
Continue your medication. I know some good psychiatrists in Bangalore if you need second opinion. Consult a Psychologist Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling using Psychoanalytic and Existentialist Approach is required.
