Not in just Dhaka but in Many countries it is happened that parents are not allowing their children to consult psychiatrist or psychologist. I am also a bengali dr from india i know what happen in family. I advice u to consult online psychologist or psychiatrist. Sone time there is no need to take medicine ,improving knowledge and some therapeutic help from psychologist is enough to reduce a mental symptom. I hope it will help u. Be brave .... Feel free to contact if needed...

If you feel you need a psychiatrist, go ahead and consult. Online consultations are available as well. There is a confidentiality pact between the doctor and the client, society doesnt need to know that you are visiting any psychiatrist. Let the doctor explain this to your parents.
