I am suffering from depression i feel low , irritate , scared , doctor suggested me etizolm escitalopram tablets but it has been 20 days i am eating this medicine still after every evening i feel the same can anybody help

Antidepressants take about 3-4weeks to have a proper action because they act on the chemicals in the brain. They arent like other pain killers that act instantly. Depression and anxiety both are treated with antidepressants like escitalopram. Dont lose hope.All the best!
