Depression for 4-5years
I am from Chennai. I analysed that I had a bad abusive and unresolved childhood. I married the person who loves me to moon and back but I am unable to completely taste the bliss of marriage either. People tell me I expect more so I face worries. I have started feeling suicidal and unable to enjoy anything anyday.

Hello, These symptoms are suggestive of depression. Depression can affect anyone. Depression symptoms include feeling low all the time, loss of interest in previous pleasurable activity, crying spells, feeling lonely, change in appetite and sleep, low in energy, confidence, hopeless, helpless, worthless feeling and sometime even suicidal ideas. Few of them or all can be present at a time. Depending on the severity your treatment will be decided. Symptoms worsens with time so its advisable to take help from mental health professionals as early as possible.

Please visit a psychologist close by as it's the suicidal thoughts that u had give immediate attention, along with psychotherapy or family therapy as Ur depressed. You start feeling better after some sessions. Go ahead.

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counselings the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.
