Feeling sad is a normal human emotional response to a loss. If there are no other complaints like unable to work because of lethargy/fatigue or difficulty in sleep or eating properly, or ideas of harming self, there is nothing much to be done and such feeling should go away in few weeks. If it doesn't, or you are experiencing other symptoms, you may require Psychiatrist's help.
