There are different types of fractures,if the fracture is not involving the pulp,a normal filling can help u..lik n front teeth, tooth colourd filling can solve ur issue,if it's touching the pulp and u r havg pain, then root canal treatment has to be done and capping should be done to get back the shape.
Next Steps
bfre doing filling, the extent of the trauma caused to the teeth has to be ruled out by taking xray, some teeth won't show any issues outside, but will be having problems in root portion
Health Tips
let ur doctor decide what's best for u after check up or x-ray

Fractured tooth has to be ruled out of other aspects like vitality ,fracture of bone ,mobility etc and treatment protocols devised accordingly. A mere filling to what extent has to be ruled out considering other parameters.
