The treatment depends on the position and size and cause of the cyst... if the cyst is small which is seen near the root of the tooth due to the infected tooth, then root canal treatment is necessary to eliminate this......if it is due wisdom teeth then you need to removed it surically along with wisdom teeth....
If it is present in the jaws then you need to remove it surgically when it is symptomatic
NO other normal prescribed medicine will remove the cyst..

there varies types of dental cyst and it's depends on the association of cyst with near by tissue also
if the cyst is near to root of tooth then rct can be performed to cure it and its present near wisdom tooth then it can be removed with wisdom tooth removal
And in case it's in jaw then you need to go for surgical procedure for it
