Dental crown and retainers
I am getting dental crowns on front 4 teeth. I have finished my braces treatment just now. After getting my crowns I will have to wear retainers for about a year. I am worried that the wearing of retainers and pulling them out and putting them on everyday day is going to strain the crowns (my crowns will be PFZ crowns). So should I get crowns after retainers?

After orthodontic treatment to prevent relapse and to stabilize the treatment..... Retainers are given to the patient. Retainers may be removable or fixed!!!!
Next Steps
Retainers can be used.... with PFM crown in upper front teeth..... Better go with your orthodontist who has done treatment!!!

Wearing and taking off the retainers can damage your crowns but proper evaluation of this can be done by your orthodontist or the dentist. Better go along with what dentist suggests you
