Dental bridge or dental implants
I fractured two upper central incisors in an accident (fractured about 3/4 of the teeth). I got root canal done on them. Now should I get them crowned even though it will require crowning my adjacent teeth as well making it a 4 unit crown (the healthy teeth will be lateral incisors supporting the fractured central incisors in the upper jaw) or should I get the teeth extracted (extraction of teeth is not needed as they are still fine but only fractured) and get dental implants?

Since rct is already done then you can have customized post and core to cover the teeth with separate crown so that if in future any problem occurs then both the crowns and teeth will not needed to be removed but only the one with the problem can be removed. Extraction is not needed as teeth are saved by rct and its better to have your own teeth if they can be saved rather then removing them and placing implants. But if you are intrested in implant then you can ask for implants which are placed in root of the teeth after rct is done. They are endo implant and that can be the option to save your laterals from crown and fractured tooth from extraction.

Hi.. As you mentioned you have already got a root canal done. We will have to evaluate the extent of tooth fractured in order to receive a crown. Present status of the tooth after the rootcanal any changes in the apical area( root end). Which can be done by taking an xray. If u already have it will be helpful if u can attach on practo consult. It helps in determining Will Four unit bridge be required? Or implants would be better as your lateral incisors are completely healthy.
Next Steps

Namaskaram, Intervening with healthy teeth for a bridge is not preferable because dentists usually don't like damaging healthy teeth. Few dentists do it if the patient can't afford expensive procedures. We advice you to ask your dentist if Post and Core procedure can be performed (it doesn't involve your lateral incisors). However, you are young enough to get an implant because the healing will be good at your age and as the central incisors are important for appearance. Though it is expensive, we advice you to get implants and most implants come with a life long warranty and the success rates are pretty high. We hope this will help you, Thank you, Shambhala group.
Next Steps
Inquire about post and core procedure.
